Support Committed to Inclusivity
As an African American non-binary person, I understand how vital it is to feel seen, supported, and understood during life’s most transformative moments. My personal experiences have shaped not only my approach to birth work but also my deep commitment to providing compassionate, non-judgmental care for all family structures, no matter background, identity, or story.
Why Inclusivity Matters
In our society, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and families face unique challenges when it comes to reproductive health and support. Whether it’s navigating a healthcare system that may not always listen, or seeking a safe space to bring life into the world without fear of judgment or bias, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have someone in your corner who truly understands your journey.
As a doula, my mission is to be that unwavering support. I provide a safe, empowering space for every birther and person—whether you’re a first-time parent or welcoming an addition to your blended, non-traditional, or queer family.
What I Offer
I take pride in providing culturally aware, sensitive, and affirming care. This means recognizing the specific needs of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ birthers/individuals and their families, addressing the disparities in care, and being a proactive advocate when necessary. I offer a judgment-free environment where your family structure, identity, and choices are respected, honored, and celebrated as they should be.
Creating Space for Every Family
The importance of having someone who understands your perspective is invaluable. I’ve faced many moments where I wasn’t heard or respected, where I needed someone to speak up for me—and I’ve taken those experiences and used them to fuel my passion for supporting others. I believe everyone, no matter their background, deserves support who sees them as individuals, respects their unique needs, and fights alongside them to ensure they have the life experiences and transformations they deserve.
I’m committed to being that advocate, that voice, and that support for ALL I serve—because no one should navigate this journey alone.
